Chris Wenger was introduced to blacksmithing by his son and almost immediately fell in love with the heat, frustrations and joy of learning to move metal. From making his own tools, to sculptures and various crafts, the joy has only grown with each trip into the shop.
In addition to metalsmithing, Chris is a nature photographer who has shown in galleries and has had several images published in various books and magazines.
Chris also continues to work in the aviation industry and loves to bird and botanize both locally and throughout the world whenever he gets the chance.
Chris lives at the end of a long gravel road, near Kamloops, BC, Canada.
