shipping
Canada: All shipping fees are generated via Shopify's Canada Post rates at checkout.
USA: Due to changes in customs when shipping to the USA, we have changed our shipping rates. There is a $50 flat shipping fee for USA shipping added to you purchase at checkout. We ship all international packages through DHL and their rates typically come to $50-$100 depending on the size of the package. Any additional shipping fees, tarriffs or duties will be sent to the customer as a separate invoice. We will not (and can not) process any additional fees without your approval. If you do not wish to pay any additional fees that are invoiced to you we will provide a full refund after 14 days.
All duties for USA customs will be calculated and paid prior to shipping.
International (outside of USA): All shipping fees are generated via Shopify's Canada Post rates at checkout.
We do not charge any handling fees, all fees are to directly cover the estimated cost from the shipping carrier.

We pride ourselves in shipping your artwork safely! All fragile items will be wrapped in lots of repurposed packaging and double boxed.

With that said, the Craft Council of BC is not responsible for any damage in transit. While we do all we can to ensure safe shipping, all customers ship at their own risk. If a package arrives damaged we can offer assistance with filing complaints with the shipping carrier and provide photographs of the package's condition before shipment upon request.
All shipments will be shipped with a tracking number. We will provide as much assistance in locating lost shipments and filing complaints, but cannot reimburse or take responsibility for lost shipments.

returns
The Craft Council of BC's shop is happy to offer store credit for items brought or shipped back within 7 days of purchase. Due to the nature of our products and our relationship with our vendors, we do not offer refunds.
To be eligible for store credit, your item must be unused and in the same condition and packaging that you received it, and you must bring your original receipt.
fragile items: glass and ceramics must be packaged in the same manner as they were shipped to the customer to be eligible for a return. Photos of the original packing are available upon request.
