Vancouver-based clay artist Laura has worked with the medium since childhood, drawn to its tactile, earthy qualities. Trained in South Africa under mentors who challenged Anglocentric ceramic traditions, she developed her own unique style — one that integrates decorative surface design with vessel form and champions handcrafted work in an age of mass production.
