Deborah works with Canadian suppliers to source her wool yarn, which she then dyes, knits, and transforms into functional felt products. Felt is an extremely durable material and can last years if well taken of. These bags are practical and also add an artistic flare to your daily wear!
Deb Dumka is a textile artist working with natural fibre, dyes and a variety of textile techniques to produce functional felted work. Her work considers our relationship to landscape and she strives to evoke an emotional response through the use of colour, pattern and texture.
Deb's home studio is in a rural community on the edge of an island in the Salish Sea with a west coast vista of forest, ocean, mountains and sky.
"I love the durability and sturdiness of this bag. Great to take to a farmers market or flea market to carry all your new finds! Also a great statement piece to any look!"
