Sterling Silver (925) Wild Rag / Scarf Slide. Concha style with turquoise stone.
"We made this scarf slide as an homage to our Métis background. Métis were widely referred to as the ‘Flower Beadwork People’ because of the preponderance of floral designs in their beadwork and embroidery. We incorporated this love for floral patterns into our silver work."
- Tara & Roboan
TaRob Creations is made up of jewelry designers/artisans Tara & Roboan. Their silversmithing journey began in 2013 in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Their designs are influenced by their backgrounds (Roboan is from Mexico and Tara is from rural Canada), and from their travels and nomadic lifestyle. They spent several years living in different countries including Spain, South Korea, Scotland, Mexico, Canada, and have traveled and spent significant time in several others. The techniques and designs used in their creations reflect this.
They do hand engraving, Mokume Gane (Japanese Technique), Lost Wax Carving and Casting, and are always experimenting with new styles and techniques.
