This piece is part of The Earring Show, an annual fundraiser for the Craft Council of BC that highlights contemporary jewellery design. The exhibition sheds light on the timeless connection between craft and culture, and how they influence each other.

grade 1 titanium, 3ct citrine, and 3ct Swiss blue topaz
Hand fabricated from titanium plate and wire. Domed to create hollow form, tack and laser welded to join pieces together. Prong set gemstones. Anodized for colour.
Born in London, England, and based in Vancouver since 2020, Gabriel Mador is a recent graduate of Vancouver Community College (VCC). His design style focuses on bringing a modern twist to classic fine jewellery, blending traditional elegance with contemporary aesthetics. Gemstones are at the heart of Gabriel's work, and his pieces are frequently designed around the unique characteristics of specific stones. This focus, coupled with bold, minimalist forms, defines the central character of his jewellery collections.
