The design of these earrings reflects the fragmentation and rebirth of art and cultural heritage. The first pair, combining a jellyfish shape with a photograph of the artist and the jellyfish, symbolizes forgotten parts of culture. The jellyfish represents fluidity and change, signifying the ongoing evolution of culture. The earrings' complex structure and weight make them unsuitable for daily wear, mirroring the loss and helplessness felt when facing eroded cultural heritage. They remind us that cultural fragmentation is a long-lasting accumulation, not a temporary wound. In contrast, the second pair of jellyfish earrings uses a lightweight design to symbolize hope for renewal. It represents the desire for reconstruction amidst heritage's ruins, reflecting the vitality of culture and art in transformation. Through delicate craftsmanship, these earrings convey the power to redefine identity and self.
