Zakk Wilby is a second-year jewellery and metal arts student at NBCCD who picked up jewellery after finding a passion for it through the Foundation Visual Arts program also offered there. In his first year, Zakk found himself exploring many techniques such as casting, keum-boo, stone setting, and forging, and through all of that experimenting Zakk feels that he has narrowed down a style which suits him: expressing bold forms in clean high-polish silver jewellery with a sprinkle of brass incorporated as well. Zakk's work was recently shown at the Sterling Exhibition 2025 at the Government House in Fredericton, New Brunswick, as well as the 2025 craft sale at the George Fry Gallery, also in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
