This piece is part of The Earring Show, an annual fundraiser for the Craft Council of BC that highlights contemporary jewellery design. The exhibition sheds light on the timeless connection between craft and culture, and how they influence each other.
5.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm
sterling silver, garnet beads
Shadow motifs are drawn onto silver sheet and cut by hand with a jeweller's saw. A patina is applied to the metal.
Jamie Rosario is a Toronto-based designer and goldsmith. She graduated from OCAD University's Material Art & Design program in 2024, during which she expanded further on her craft at Harbourfront Centre's 2023 Summer Residency. She won Best of Jewellery at the 64th Toronto Outdoor Art Fair in 2025.
