Each element of these earrings was sawn, soldered, hand-painted with gold, and then textured individually to create unique patterns in the metal.
These earrings aim to capture a yearning for a connection with nature. Each piece is a landscape – with its own weather and spirit of place – infused with its own story. The earrings are fully handmade from gold, sterling, and fine silver wire and sheet metal. Each small element is cut, formed, soldered together, painted with 18k gold, and finished by hand with soft texture resembling the dappled play of light through the trees. The silver is darkened with a patina to enhance the bright yellow of the gold.
