Soheila's creative process is intuitive and experimental, allowing the materials to guide the final form. She carefully chooses the driftwood before pairing it with complementary elements such as metals and gemstones. Inspired by the raw beauty of nature, her work celebrates organic textures and natural imperfections, transforming found materials into wearable works of art. Balancing her craft with a full-time role at an animal emergency hospital, she pours dedication and passion into every creation, ensuring that each piece tells a unique story of nature, craftsmanship, and artistic expression.

Originally from Iran, Soheila's artistic journey began in 2016 in Tehran, where she discovered her passion for wood arts. Under the mentorship of her husband - an expert in wood carving and marquetry - she honed her skills and showcased her work in several group exhibitions. After relocating to Canada, Soheila and her husband took a brief hiatus from their craft before reigniting their creative pursuits. Together, they founded Mana Wood Art, a brand dedicated to handmade wood jewellery and intricate woodwork. Their debut took place at the Shipyards North Vancouver Pop-up Market in 2023, followed by participation in the Silk Purse Art Gallery's Holiday Market and the Craft Council of BC Earring Show (2024), further establishing their presence in the local art scene. Inspired by the raw beauty of nature, Soheila's designs incorporate driftwood, gemstones, and metals, celebrating organic textures and natural elements. Each piece is crafted with a deep appreciation for the materials' unique forms, transforming them into wearable works of art. Balancing her craft with a full-time role at an animal emergency hospital, she pours dedication and passion into every creation, ensuring that each piece tells a story of nature, craftsmanship, and artistic expression.
