Coral Patola is a POC artist working predominantly in ceramics and sculpture. Patola is currently living on the unceded territory of the Líl̓wat Nation known as Pemberton, BC. Born and raised in Vancouver, Patola went on to earn a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design with a Major in Illustration, graduating in 2016. Following their studies, they went on to develop a private home-studio and start their small business as Piton Pottery.
Continuing to work in utilitarian ceramics and sculpture, Patola has exhibited juried works throughout Canada and the USA. Patola is a proud member of the Potter’s Guild of BC and was part of their collection of juried artists on display at The Gallery of BC Ceramics from 2017 until the gallery’s dissolution.
