Primarily Cody works with Gold, Copper, Silver and hardwood, manipulating his materials using a variety of techniques. He is interested in disrupting the surface of metal to create unique textures and light refractions. Cody is inspired by the look, feel, and weight of a substance. When choosing a material, he is intrigued by the abnormalities and impurities that he can exploit. The evocative use of sharp angles, decisive folds, and rich textures are signatures of his design aesthetic.
