Rojin Habibi (She/Her) is a Kurdish Canadian interdisciplinary artist based on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. She studied at the University of British Columbia and graduated from Vancouver Community College's Jewellery Art and Design program in 2025. Jewellery has always been a passion of hers, and she currently works in the field.
While Rojin primarily focuses on metalwork and jewellery, she also branches out to sculpture, photography, and other media to express herself. She must use her hands. Her inspiration stems from her surroundings, primarily from her Kurdish heritage, as well as from her own body, architecture from her city, and pop culture. The work she created explores identity and how one may experience the world. She shows intention in regard to the shape and form of her work, whilst also including a playful and harmonious aesthetic, all of which is made by her hands.
