"A new scene of water" Earrings Nature bestows profound wisdom. As an artist whose soul is intertwined with the natural world, Sara embarks on each design endeavour by forging a deep connection with nature. This immersive exploration allows her to unravel the unique lexicon of the natural world and delve into its inexhaustible source of inspiration. Sara's designs invite onlookers to deeply reflect on their environment and the vastness of the natural world around them. In her view, jewellery goes beyond mere aesthetics and decoration; it becomes a vessel for deep reflection and awareness, offering its wearers a momentary haven to forge a connection with nature. In drawing inspiration from the cinematic marvel "Avatar," Sara has seamlessly integrated its poignant quotations into the core of her earring designs. Through the precise manipulation of silver wire, she captures the perpetual motion of water, reflecting its endless flow. To further emphasize the concept of water and the ocean's expanse, she utilized sweat soldering to affix coral motifs onto the wire, and opted for patina finishes over polishing, resonating with the film's philosophy: "Water connects all things, life to death, darkness to light." In homage to the human voyage, Sara incorporates lab-grown emerald gemstones within the wire, each gem reflecting human existence amidst water's ebb and flow. This choice honours the film's wisdom: "The sea is around you and in you. The Sea is your home before your birth and after your death." "Avatar" has left a lasting impact on Sara's outlook on life. The creation and adornment of this necklace serve as a perpetual reminder of nature's ubiquitous embrace and the myriad lessons it offers. It stands as a tangible invitation to remain intertwined with the natural world and receptive to its guidance.
