These earrings were hand forged, filled with a trio of plique a jour enamel in oceanic shades of blue and finished with a contrasting gunmetal ceramic e-coating to emphasize their texture; Each of the submitted pieces juxtapose angular geometry with softly rounded curves. Their inspiration is drawn from architecture, nature and memories gleaned through past world travels. Whether working in plique a jour enamel or ceramic coating, the choice of richly saturated colour combined with layers of texture reinvents these everyday forms with unexpected results.
