Every human begins with a journey - an odyssey that defines existence. Before taking a first step, speaking a first word, or dreaming a first dream, there is movement, a race toward life itself. This piece captures that first challenge - millions of sperm navigating the womb, each striving toward a single destination: the egg. The coral represents the egg, the source of creation. The delicate silver chains, forming the tails of the sperm, embody motion, determination, and the relentless force of life. At the top of the earring, a small head adorned with a helmet symbolizes the survivor - the one who emerged victorious from this journey. Odyssey is a tribute to this primal race, a reminder that from the very first moment, every being is meant to push forward, to endure, and to reach its destiny.

Marzieh Aghasi is a jewellery artist and designer with a degree in Jewellery Art and Design from VCC College. Her work is deeply inspired by everything related to human existence - society, emotions, identity, and artistic movements. She views jewellery as more than an accessory, transforming it into a medium for storytelling and self-expression. Drawing from surrealism and cubism, Aghasi experiments with diverse materials and abstract forms, challenging conventional jewellery design. Each piece embodies a narrative, encouraging emotional and intellectual engagement. By merging artistic concepts with craftsmanship, she redefines the boundaries of wearable art. As the founder of AGHASI, she continues to innovate, creating pieces that invite reflection on human experiences. Her designs connect contemporary aesthetics with meaningful themes, offering jewellery that resonates on a personal and cultural level. Through her work, Aghasi invites us to see jewellery as an artistic statement - one that speaks to the essence of being human.
