These earrings were fold formed, hammer textured and hand engraved, accented with a coating of golden keum boo and finished with contrasting emerald green ceramic e-coating to highlight the line engraving. Each of the submitted pieces juxtapose angular geometry with softly rounded curves. Their inspiration is drawn from architecture, nature and memories gleaned through past world travels. Whether working in plique a jour enamel or ceramic coating, the choice of richly saturated colour combined with layers of texture reinvents these everyday forms with unexpected results.
