The Martian Metalsmith excels in crafting captivating jewellery seamlessly blending complexity with simplicity. Artist and designer, Marianna Lewis, draws inspiration from the natural elements of her island home, Jamaica, and her own life experiences. Each piece tells a unique story, giving them added value and profound significance.

The Mango Leaf Earrings, made out of copper and sterling silver, were created to commemorate Marianna's summer days as a child, playing with her cousins amongst the mango leaves in her grandmother's backyard. These earrings were formed using fold-forming and soldering techniques.

The Dangling Vine Earrings, made out of sterling silver, are inspired by the endless vines and vegetation which populate every corner of Jamaica. These earrings were formed using reticulation, doming, soldering, and piercing techniques. The Spear Earrings, made out of sterling silver, were inspired by the African cultures represented in Marvel's "Black Panther", which is linked to Marianna's Jamaican heritage. These earrings were carefully pierced using a jeweller's saw with added details crafted using a hole punch tool.
