The Lotus Nouvelle earrings were shaped from handmade recycled paper clay, molded by hand into an abstract lotus shape. Layers of paper pulp were added for depth, followed by drying. The final touch involved gentle sanding to preserve their rustic texture; Maya River's earrings embody the beauty of nature in both design and creation. Utilizing paper clay, Maya explores the link between human-made objects and the natural world. Guided by nature's inspiration, each piece is crafted with sustainability at its core, using recycled materials and handcrafted techniques. Patterns drawn from nature and African pottery lend Maya River's earrings a timeless appeal, rooted in the earthy essence of our world.
