Julie creates one-of-a kind or limited edition art jewellery using mixed metals and found objects. She continually challenges herself by using fewer tools than many jewellery artists and prefers fabricating techniques such soldering, cold connections, stone setting, texturing and application of patinas over casting. She only creates one-of-a-kind or limited edition pieces. Her goal is to create suggestive narrative pieces that are sculptural, irregular, organic and evoke a mysterious origin.
