Bring the beauty and awe of the ocean closer to home with this mug inspired by the beauty and diversity of the Pacific West Coast; the edge of a continent where the Coastal range plummets into the vast depth of the Pacific Ocean. Using sgraffito as method, hand drawn sketches linked to geographical place are added onto thrown ceramic pieces and fired to Cone 10 Reduction resulting in a symbolic appreciation of the coastal region.
