As a new comer to Canada I spend hours wondering in the city to learn more about the new enviroment and the society I live in now. Soon I realized I had to literally retrain my brain to unlearn and relearn everything and every simple move such as crossing the street and so on.I decided to take this awkward experience and turn it in to a project called " This is what I see". Because of my lack of communication in English I started imagining all these persona and characters when I came across a new experience such as seeing a doctor or simply getting on the bus and not knowing what to say and what to do! I created these set of pendants so each holds a story and hoping that it gives my viewers an opportunity to determine how a new comer such as myself might experience a new begging. I am also hoping that these characters can carry their own story in the viewers mind and be fun to look at.
Care Instructions: enamel paint is glass based and it has been fired at a high temperature, making it prone to breaking if dropped.
