Julian Duerksen has been working with hot glass for over 15 years. He studied glass blowing at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary, Alberta and has furthered his explorations in the craft of glass by attending workshops at Series Summer School of the Arts at Red Deer College, Canada, and by being part of the Alberta College of Art and Design’s Poleturner Team at the Pilchuck Glass School. Julian also likes to learn new techniques by trial and error with a good dose of curiosity and exploration.
