Her work in metal is inspired by organic forms and movement, and she aims to push the physical limitations of metal through hand fabrication. \u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eCalla is from Vancouver, BC, and her passion for three-dimensional craft began by taking ceramics classes as a kid. She continued to work in multiple mediums throughout high school, doing drawing, photography, ceramics, film, and printmaking. When she took her first jewellery course at NSCAD, she became interested in metal as a medium and how a sense of movement can be brought into this material. She experiments with different techniques to create dynamic forms and textures in her work.
