Danielle Cadef is a metalsmith and mixed media jewelry designer, focusing on utilizing unusual materials and found objects. She is fascinated with the ways in which people adorn themselves. She creates wearable art using a variety of materials. Danielle is self-taught, apart from a few night classes at a local gem & mineral society. She has been collecting jewelry making, silversmithing and goldsmithing books that she draws her teachings from, combined with experimentation and research. Danielle Cadef's jewelry has been juried and exhibited at the Society of Arts & Crafts-Craft Boston Holiday 2021 and currently online for the Pins & Needles 2022 show; Danaca Design Gallery STATEment show, The Smithery RADIANCE Earring show, Edwardville Art Center 2020 Metal & Mud show, Balefire Goods 2020 Brooching the Subject show, Metalwerx 2019 Peace Ornament Project, and Halstead Design Challenges 2018-2020. Dainelle's Fire Mica earrings have won second place in Pocosin Arts School of Fine Craft 4th Annual Ware/Wear 2021 show.
