sterling silver, Swarovski crystals
These long delicate threader earrings feature a Great Slave Lake whitefish vertebrae, hand-cast from solid sterling silver, embellished with Swarovski crystals. "Tucho" is the Dene word for Great Slave Lake and this series engages with April's experiences on the shores of Tucho crafting jewellery from the offerings the lake gives in the form of stones, vertebrae, driftwood, bark, and occasionally glass.
